About us at StoCHE

Our vision is to contribute to efficient and equitable healthcare by producing high-quality health economic reports that can be used for decisions and prioritization in healthcare.

Our organisation

We are part of the Center for Health Economics, Informatics and Healthcare Research (Centrum för hälsoekonomi, informatik och sjukvårdsforskning, CHIS) within Stockholm Health Care Services (Stockholms läns landsting, SLSO), under Region Stockholm. Our primary work is on behalf of the Health and Medical Care Administration (Hälso- och sjukvårdsförvaltningen, HSF) of Region Stockholm, but we are also able to undertake projects for other public sector entities. As a university healthcare unit, CHIS conducts high-quality research at both national and international levels, offers top-tier education, and contributes to evidence-based healthcare by applying our research findings to practical care while continuously evaluating both established and new methods.

We who work here

We who work at StoCHE are affiliated with the research group "Health Economics and Policy" at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) at Karolinska Institutet (KI). Some of us are also represented at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB). Within our connection to KI, we teach on the Master's Program in Health Economics, Policy and Management.
